MAC: The Kitsilano Manga and Anime Club

As you can see, this site has a brand-spankin' new layout, featuring our new logo. That I just made and didn't consult anyone about. xD

Things to note:

1. You can find a bigger picture of the logo in the "Goodies" section of the site.
2. The logo is of a blue demon, Kitsilano's mascot.
3. The demon's hair forms an M. For MAC/Manga. If you squint a bit, the left portion of her face forms an A, for anime.
4. No copywritten images were used, so nobody can sue us! Ha!
5. The search box is a lot more obvious in this layout.

Hi everyone!

The Clubs Extravaganza was a success! We got many new members and we're looking forward to seeing you all at the first meeting on wednesday the 20th during lunch in the graphics room in rm 506. There, we will discuss which days we will be holding our meetings and what kind of anime we're interested in watching. hooray~~Also, don't forget to ask me, Jackie, if you're interested in borrowing manga from our "cozy" collection.=D

Well, that's all for now, it was great seeing so many new faces interested in our club.=D

It's almost the start of the new schoolyear, and here's a post to tell you all what we'll be doing this year!

• This year, instead of just picking based on our own whims and fancies, we'll be determining the animes we will watch by the signup sheets, giving all our members more of an input. =)
  
• I think we've pretty much given up on field trips because there isn't anything to go to in this city.
• We will try to watch fewer liscensed anime; the ones we watched last year kinda sucked.
• If anyone would like to organize any other activities, please contact me! The last two years, such activities kinda fell through because the organizers didn't really care very much. If drawing is your passion, and you'd like to show the club your 1337 skills, please tell me and we'll see what we can do!
